This arrangement lasts about 2 minutes and 30 seconds, serving well as offertory music. When Folliot Sandford Pierpoint wrote the poem/lyrics, he intended it primarily for Communion service in Anglican Church, but when the music came across the Atlantic, it became associated with the American Thanksgiving holiday. Jennifer uses the motif of "Hallelujah" from Handel's Messiah a few times in this work, making it a fun "Easter egg" for the congregants.

This arrangement is Grade 2 level according to ASTA grading system. The learning targets include drawing slow bows, while making resonant tones. Dvorak's symphony, as our arrangement showcases thick, rich harmonies that are both satisfying and fulfilling for students at this level. The whole piece is about 2.5 minutes.

Peach Blossom Takes the Ferry 桃花過渡 is a song from South East China. Peach Blossom is a beautiful lady. She takes the ferry to cross the river while the sailor uncle on the boat sings to tease her. Peach Blossom sings back with wit and eventually wins the singing battle. The length of this arrangement is about 1 minute and 35 seconds.

This piece is arranged for a violin beginner student who has been playing violin for 1.5 years. The violinist should be able to play in the second position.
